Leisure in Cyprus

What can we do in Cyprus ?  What Leisure facilities are available for us ?

• Dancing – [inc: Salza and 'Line Dancing' ]
• Cinema's - including new "Multi-Plex theatres throughout the island with all the latest releases
• Theatres  and Concerts - many held in superb settings from the Roman Curium  amphitheatre by the sea at Episkopi - the theatre by the old walls of Nicosia - to the hills overlooking the Sea at Cape Greco outside Ayia Napa - all spectacular settings
• Music and Drama ranging from Classical Greek tragedies to modern West End productions and Classical Music / Opera to Modern Concert Performances by top world stars - recently have included the “3 Tenors”-  Diana Ross Elton John and "Riverdance" and Russian Ballet Companies.
• Wine tasting and Wine Festivals from a host of excellent local Vineyards. Remember Cyprus is the reputed home of Queen Cleopatra's Vineyards.
• Archeology - from the "prehistoric" though the Stone and Bronze ages - Roman and Greek - Phoenician and the Crusaders / Knights Templars - Cyprus is steeped in history and historical sights monuments and museums.
• Arts and Crafts - Poetry - Painting - Pottery etc
